Volunteer Opportunities: Not needed until we re-establish our adoption events
Back-up Transportation Volunteers:
- Licensed, safe drivers needed for transportation of:
-Two persons (riding in passenger seat and back seat)
-Dogs (riding in passenger seat and back seat)
-Cats/Kittens/Pups (in crates)
-Foldup cart and minimal supplies
- Transportation is needed from:
-San Ysidro at 9am to the adoption event in Hillcrest (details pending)
-and from Adoption Event to San Ysidro
- Must be AT LEAST 18 years of age
- Must be comfortable and confident in driving with dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, histories, etc.
- 5-seater car fits all!
Adoption Event Volunteers:
- Volunteers needed during adoption events to:
-Answer general questions from potential adopters
-Provide folks with a clear understanding of who we are and what
we do the, adoption process, adoption fees, what is included in
adopting an animal, etc.
-Handling of dogs, pups, cats, and kittens
- Must be AT LEAST 18 years of age
- Must be comfortable and confident in handling dogs and cats of all sizes,
breeds, temperaments, histories, etc.
Have any other volunteer ideas? Send them in! (Example: We had a one-time volunteer grill hot dogs at our event to raise rescue funds and another volunteer hold a bake sale. The possibilities are endless!)
